Reconstruction of Building on Ostrovskogo St. 16/3

Two-storey building is located in historical center of Kazan at a busy intersection, in immediate proximity of hotels and office centers. It was built before 1917, registered as historic building and is now in deteriorating condition.

The plan is to preserve the façade, dome ceilings on the 1st floor, arches, fireplace, gypsum molding. Existent additions will be replaced by new ones with a cozy patio between them. An automatic parking system for 8 cars will be installed in the back.

The building will be functioning as restaurant or retail outlet.

Kazan has many buildings like this one, therefore our project can set a good example for transforming historic properties into modern buildings with new functions for local businesses.

Reconstruction of Building on Profsoyuznaya Str. 44

One-storey building in historical part of the city in a densely built area is over 100 years old and registered as a historic property. An addition to the building and parking spaces in the back are planned. The property will be functioning as a café or restaurant.

The existing building will be remodeled. Brick walls and wrought-iron elements will be preserved, window frames and metal roof will be replaced with new ones preserving their original style. New addition is projected to be made of monolithic concrete with natural wood siding and shutters.
